I'm keeping this short.

This guide will explain how to properly mod Resident Evil 4. What else needs to be said?

Let's download Fluffy Mod Manager.




To get the latest version go to this link.[www.fluffyquack.com]

Download and extract the 'modmanager.zip' file wherever you want. I put mine inside a folder in my Resident Evil 4 install folder.





Now open the executable file titled 'Modmanager.exe' and you should see this. Click 'Resident Evil 4 Remake'. If the automatic game path detection doesn't work, click 'Define game path' and set it to your Resident Evil 4 install folder.




Great, Let's get REFramework installed.

Go to this link[github.com] and download 'RE4.zip'.










Extract the zip file and drop 'dinput8.dll' in your Resident Evil 4 install folder.

DO NOT select anything else unless you plan to play VR.






And that's it! When you launch the game you should see a window pop up, the default key to close it is the insert key. You can change it under 'Configuration'

Let's go back to Fluffy Mod Manager!

Go to Nexus Mods and pick out a mod you would like to install, for this tutorial I will use this mod. [www.nexusmods.com]


Download your mod and go to Fluffy Mod Manager. Click Options, then 'Open mods folder', the folder should open.









Drag your mod zip file into the folder, don't extract it.









Back in Fluffy Mod Manager, click 'Mod list' and 'Refresh mod list'.

Your mod will show in one of the categories. Enable the mod and click launch game. You should have a working mod!
