In moshpits you always want to prioritizing grabbing enemies with weapons and using the claws. Claws have really short ranges but they are also quick to use and when paired either together or with another weapon can decimate limbs in seconds. Claws are the go-to option for endless glory mode since the later-game consists of like a dozen gladiators punching each other in a moshpit while grey knights and animals gank them. It's better to let the animals and knights kill each other while you moshpit.
Grab them. Grabbing an enemy and flinging them will cause them to ragdoll and lose their weapons. You can also stun them just by twirling them around though you can put yourself in bad or awkward situations doing this. Throwing people in pits or into spike traps are usually the way to go. Saw traps are unreliable and due to their movement actually gives people a means of escape. Spike traps more often than not will keep you stunned and taking damage and there is a high chance of losing a limb or dying if flung into at high velocity.
