Yes, a beta is a super-early build of the game with deprecated systems, made completely out of placeholders. We all know that developers will fix absolutely everything about this game in the few months before release, because no game in recent years has come out pathetically raw, with years-worth of optimisation issues, bug fixes and complete reworks.
