This video is infuriating. I can get her to the second phase in half the time but deal with 4x the Water Fowl Dance so end up cooked by the time I enter the second phase. Summoning a mimic the whole time too. I just don't get this boss. Great job though! I'm running a strength build this time and am about a 1/4 bar from ending her.

Fell in love with light rapiers in DS1 and have since beaten each Souls Game using it as my main primary. Casting Magic Weapon, Greater Magic Weapon, or other such spells on one lets you get in some quick stabs on most enemies and end up doing some decent damage. Replaying DS2 now (trying to prevent getting burned out on ER) and a Rapier with a ring/spell that increases enemy stamina/poise damage does some cool stuff. Also has big crit-damage bonus IIRC. Underrated weapon..... although you can really beat the game with just about every weapon.

lionel armor has better slash and pierce resistence, pumpkin head has good damage negation for hitting head which happens a lot
