Interesting facts about King Arthur:

*Despite his fame, historians have largely concluded that the Arthur we know and mythologize never existed: the popular image of Arthur as a plate-armor wearing king living in Camelot, sitting at the round table with his knights, and searching for the Holy Grail is a myth that gradually developed over time from sources including Welsh mythology and author Geoffrey of Monmouth. While the possibility remains that a real man existed who inspired the legend of Arthur, that man has been long lost to history. As such, the Arthur presented in this addon is just a version of him based on popular mythology. If you'd like to read more about the debate over the historical Arthur, go here.[en.wikipedia.org]

*According to popular mythology, Arthur will one day return to save Britan and the Britans in their hour of need. Exactly how he will do that after the development of guns and nuclear missiles is not clear, nor if he will save just Celtic Britons, all Britons, or if he will save former colonies and territories that have since gained their independence. Furthermore, he didn't show up during World War 1, World War 2, the Cold War, or Liz Tuss' administration, which makes you wonder just how bad things are going to get before he does return.

*This NPC can be found under 'Custom Characters - Historical' in the NPC menu.

*Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
