Don't be a Loser
The world of Rust is a very cruel and unforgiving one. In Rust don't be a pu$$y ass ♥♥♥♥♥ who cries when they get out-sprayed by an 1000 hour player. There will always be someone who is 10x better than you and that is something you have to cope about. People do not care about you and want you to ♥♥♥.

Never Trust Strangers!!!!
Trusting people is the most retarded thing to do. As soon as you turn your back expect a 5.56 round or a slug to the back of the head.

Abandon Your Social Life (;
Be ready to abandon all those in your life who don't play rust, as they will only slow your rust grindset. Your family, your girlfriend, your friends who don't play rust, be ready to ghost all of them for weeks and weeks; the only people who you will be communicating with are other rust players.
Grinding
Rust is a second job and will take up the majority of your life. Mining nodes and collecting scrap will be a perpetual loop of torment and pain. You have to keep mining even if you lose 900 scrap and 13k sulfer to a grub.
Weapons!!!
Once you finally escape the hell of being prim-locked, you will now have access to your first "actual" firearms. Your first instinct will be to treasure these guns and never let them leave your base. Gear fear is something you have to overstep and once you do, you will become much better at the game. Be sure to spend 16-19 hours on perfect aim train, making sure to perfect every single gun's recoil pattern in the game.
Toxicity<33
Rust is a place where you will meet many toxic people. You might start as an average gamer but when you continually play rust, the toxicity slowly envelops you. A slur or two may slip out occasionally but that's totally okay! Don't keep your anger pent up, call the person who killed you multiple obscenities instead!
Have Fun With Friends!
To feel the complete rust experience, you have to squad up with your best buds and work hard on a wipe. Teamwork is a very important element to Rust and Raiding with your friends and watching their backs is all part of it. Rust is a way more enjoyable game when playing with the boys!
