In this video, we're going to talk about the Meta Quest updates for Onward VR and how it may be sabotaging the VR playerbase intentionally to boost their own metrics. DOWNPOUR Interactive released a new update for Meta Quest and PCVR, which added a new player reporting feature among others, but also has players angry. Meta Connections are a way for players to connect with each other and share quests and rewards similar to Steam awards, however is Meta bogging down VR dev teams intentionally so that players never get the real rewards of buying any headset? Are they attempting to corner investors into only one headset? Meta conspiracy theorists be ready!

Many VR enthusiasts are unhappy with this new update. They say that it's cumbersome and a headache to use, and that it's causing the VR playerbase to self-sabotage and split in two. According to these players, the Meta Quest Pro community is divided alongside the PC VR community and ineffective due to Metas current business practices.
