Prepare For Winter

Descrizione
Makes winter more of a challenge, so you'll need to prepare. The farming changes are somewhat realistic (crops dying in the cold), however the fishing & trapping changes are not. Consists of 3 mods (Farming, Fishing & Trapping), so you can choose which aspects you want to experience.

** New ** Sandbox now has an option to make indoor plants immune to the effects of the cold. This option does *not* check the type of roof or indoor temperature. You may want to self-impose your own restrictions, e.g. only farm indoors under a glass roof and keep an antique oven running around the clock during the winter.

All temperatures can now be adjusted via the sandbox, figures below are the default values.

Farming: crops will begin to lose health at 5c (41f), the health loss will accelerate the colder it gets.

Trapping: traps won't catch anything when it drops below 0c (32f).

Fishing: you won't catch any fish when the temperature drops 0c (32f).

All 3 mods can be added to, and removed from, an existing save at any time.

They should all work in multiplayer, however I have only tested them in single player.

The mod Change Sandbox Options will let you edit the sandbox settings mid game.

@Ivan, not sure what you mean. You don't need to use all 3 mods, just enable the ones you want - and you can use the Sandbox to change the temperature at which each activity is disabled.

Any chance we can configure the farming, trapping and fishing? As you can still trap and fish IRL.

Hey, just a heads up, there's something weird with scope and Sandbox variables. You'll need to move the "indoorCheat" variable into the update function. I suggest the following, but anything works.

@-Mr. K-, I have added an option to the sandbox. The mod Change Sandbox Options will let you enable indoor farming on an existing save.
