This addon now contains two versions of Weapon Depot. The original and the 2024 remastered version. The remaster contains better, more enhanced lighting, a revised artstyle and some new visual effects.

Rumors say somewhere bordering the outskirts of Ascot, there is a large weapon cache lying around in a massive warehouse. No one exactly knows if this true but it hasn't stopped local authorities and freelance journalists from seeking the place. Even though your gut tells you that this is a bad idea, curiosity got the better of you and eventually arrived at the rough location of where it was said to be located at.

You know I thought gm_small_bank was tiring enough but this is something else entirely. I thought it was going to be a week of work, this was nearly 3 weeks of work and I can't feel my eyes. This project started off as a simple remake of an old Counter Strike map (cs_wpndepot). Then it turned into a remaster, but since I have no idea how to convert GoldSrc maps over to Source I gave up on that idea and went back to a remake. Then the design strayed so far away from the original map I just decided to give up on a faithful remake and make it one with my own special twist to it. I kept the original Black Mesa aesthetic the original map also had and modernized some areas to be just a bit brighter, cleaner and neater.

The result is much better than I originally thought but the work has cost me my own sanity. I think I'll rest for a bit.
