Nop, i've try it first and the result was worst, because when flying around, dealing with more than 1 ship will always lead to loose the side, that's why i put the shield like that ^^, but yeah in 1v1 i should be better to put the shield forward.

Do not forget all of my ship arn't combat specialist, but designed from civil concept, in most case from same value my ship will loose, but i've made them not to be able to do that kind of fight, but for fleet fight.

You, but I think you could easily change the outcome by flipping the sideways shields forward.

Theire is no problem at all xD, the Recycler isn't a real combat ship, it's a retrofit version of the salvager, meaning is basic shape isn't suited for a "real" gunboat, so yeah few specific ship like yours can esily snipe it's prism.

Both ships are well built. But the Recycler probably needs stronger shields over its prisms:
