The devs should somehow implement it and compensate you - but yeah, I know, this is not what this is about.
As I've mentioned in other comments I am working on a brand new version of the Toolbox (I call it v2) that will have a ton of information on each ammo type, weapon and animal. Progress is good, I finished implementing maps (there will be as I think a nice surprise for everyone) the other day and am currently working on the life cycle page. Trying to come up with a good design for it.
After that it's all about map filters and editing markers so all in all the progress is pretty good but with work and all there just aren't enough hours in the day for everything :/
With the new guns that have just been added to the game, I realize that without you I have little idea how to estimate which guns to use for what animals.
Can anybody tell me how to make the estimations myself that are so wonderfully used for your info-tables?
The animal markers now have three types on the WOTH map showing if the herd is in Primary, Secondary or Private habitat. It's like a little rosette on the animal icon itself. These are fixed in the game, and are the same for all players. It is a useful way to work out which are the primary or private herds for the best results. I hope that makes sense!
NB - it also tells you when you put your cursor over it what habitat that herd is living in - again useful for animals that have two primary habitat ranges.
As for the markers - can you elaborate on what exactly you mean by the markers? As you might've seen from my earlier comments I'm building a completely new version of the app so maybe something I can incroporate there.
- new species Common Eland is out
- any thoughts on adding the private/primary/secondary habitat markers to the animals on the map?
Thank you once again - it's a brilliant piece of work.
There is an Android app for COTW and I was hoping for something similar for WOTH.
Glad that this version at least works on mobile browsers as well.
Thank you so much!
