Welcome, Senpai!
Welcome backs to the Let It Die universe with this battle royal style follow up. Whilst not an exact successor to the original game, Deathverse DOES take place a decent while after the Earth's Rage event.

In this game you are a contestant in the hugely popular game show Death Jamboree. Those that have played the original Let It Die will see several nods to the predecessor. Throughout this guide I'll cover the basics as thoroughly as I can and possibly add to the content as more becomes available. For now, let us dive into this starting with...
THE TITLE SCREEN

Here is the Title Screen you'll be welcomed with upon starting up the game. The options here are:

1) Start Game - This will take you into the Main Menu of the game.

2) Settings - Here you have the options for adjusting the game settings(controls, audio, video, etc).

3) Terms of Service - The usual ToS stuff as any other company has to provide.

4) Privacy Policy - Same as ToS, just as boring but necessary.

5) Exit Game - Just as it reads, it'll take you out of the game.

Usually from here you'll hit the Start Game . Upon your first time doing so you'll be taken through a little cinematic, character creation, and tutorial. Afterwards you'll be taken to...
Main Menu

Here the Main Menu there are 2 things I'd like to point out before breaking down the menus listed. As can be seen, I've boxed 2 sections.

1) These are active menu items you can select while waiting in queue.

2) These are inactive menu items. While you're in queue for a match there are a few things you can't do while waiting. Shopping, purchasing Death Metals, collecting rewards, checking messages, and character customization aren't allowed.

This will take you to the Game Mode selection screen.

This takes you to your Inventory Screen.

The Crafting menu. Expect this to almost always have that little ! next to it. Gathering resources you've already gained in the past still shows up as a new thing for whatever reason.

This takes you to the Challenge screen as well as lists how many you have as indicated by the number next to it.

This will open the screen for the current season's Jamboree.

The Rankings menu can be accessed through this option.

Your player Profile can be accessed here.

This one will take you to the Shop menu.

This takes you to the shop specifically for purchasing Death Metals.

These icons are as follows(left to right):

Reward Box - Player Level-up, Season Rewards, and other items will pop up in here.

Messages - This will be your mailbox. There is no player-to-player interactions(currently). Mainly you'll expect stuff from the devs here.

Notifications - This will show the current events going on in the game.

Character Creation - Here you can later what your character looks like.

Settings - The same as the Settings option on the Title Screen.

This is a little marquee that will go through the current events and deals in the game.

This is your character in the game. Displayed as well is your in-game name, any title you may have set and badge. You can also see which weapon you currently have equipped here.

These are your currencies. Left to right we have:

T-Chips - These are gained from watching the Deathverse: Let It Die[www.twitch.tv] Twitch channel and voting on players in the Special matches. You can gain these from participating in Special Matches as well.

Kill Coins - These are gained from just doing matches and leveling up.

Death Metals - This is the total amount of Death Metals you own. You can not only buy these with real life currency but you can earn them in-game as well.

This displays your current Season level as well as your progression towards the next level. The bar will fill as you play matches and complete challenges.

This displays the key to access the Sub-Menu. This will bring up an overlaying menu that will give you many options.

This is what displays when you hit the Sub-Menu key displayed above. The options are mostly self-explanatory.

When you're waiting for a match this will appear at the bottom of your screen. This will still show in some of the other menus as you go about doing things to keep yourself occupied in queue.

With the Main Menu covered, we shall move on to the individual menu items and cover what is on each.
Game Mode Menu

This is the Game Mode menu. From here you can select:

1) Game Mode/Room Game - This toggles between the Game Mode menu(displayed) and the Room Game menu. I don't know anyone that owns the Platinum Pass so I have very little information on the Room Game other than it lets you make private matches.

2) Ranked Match - This is the mode for gaining bragging rights and extra rewards for the PHASE. Phases will be explained at a later time.

3) Exhibition Match - This is the mode for just going about things. It's the same as Ranked but no points system to worry about. Leisurely killing and mushroom collecting here.

4) Training - Just unlocked a new weapon? Curious what a specific mushroom or sub-skill does instead of frantically spamming the pick-up button in a match and moving on to spam light attacks at people when third-partying? Come in here. You can find all the mushrooms, sub-skills, test out combos, and all that fun stuff.

5) Tutorial - This is to let you replay the tutorial from when you first started the game. Good lil refresher if needed.

Also displayed here are the Hunter Details(as seen under Ranked and Exhibition Match). Clicking on the Hunter Details will show you the currently active Hunter and a bit about how they work.
Inventory Menu

In the Inventory you have a few options to go about for outfitting yourself.

1) Equipment/Emote/Room/Weapon Skin - This is to toggle between the various menus for customizing your character equipment, equipped emotes, room decor, and weapon skins.

2) Weapon - Your currently equipped weapon.

3) Weapon Skin - Current skin equipped on your weapon(if you have one).

4) Wilson Skin - Current skin equipped on your Wilson.

5) Outfit - Your current outfit along with the toggle for displaying the headgear.

6) Face Paint - Don your warpaint if you own any!

7) Shield Skin - Bling for your defensive shield.

This is the Emote Menu of the Inventory screen. It shows:

1) Emote Wheel - This is the emote wheel that will show up in a match when you press the key for using one.

2) Entry Emote - The emote that plays when you are at the Contestant Introduction screen before each match starts.

3) Victory Emote - This one plays when you win the match.

4) Stagger Pose - When you are sitting at 1 Voltage and are open for a Final Judgement this is the emote that you'll be doing.

5) Death Pose - Just as it says, it's what you do when you die.

Here is your Room . From here you can change:

1) Poster - The poster hanging on the wall.

2) Warp Board - This is your trusty Warp Board that takes you into each match.

3) Wall - This will change what your walls look like.

4) Floor - This changes the appearance of your flooring.

This shows if you have any Weapon Skins . (Sorry I don't have any to show off more for this screen...)
Craft Menu

This is the Craft menu . On this screen you have:

1) Weapon/Weapon Skin/Wilson Skin/Outfit/Materials - Toggle between the different crafting menus.

2) Crafting List - This displays the items you can craft.

3) Item Information - Here you see the name of the item, unlock requirements, and some flavor text for the item.

4) Item Abilities - This shows what abilities the item has.

5) Crafting Cost - Here are the materials(owned/needed) as well as Kill Coin cost for constructing the item selected.

6) Crafting/Details Buttons - When you can craft the item it will show it as Craftable. The Details button will let you take a closer look at the items shown in the Item Abilities section.

This will display any craftable Weapon Skin items.

Yet another empty one. This will be for craftable Wilson Skin items.

Here we see the Outfit crafting. Some Outfits(and Wilsons) are able to be upgraded.

1) Upgrade Path - This shows the tiers that you can upgrade to. This example has 3 steps total. Level 1 > Level 2 > Level 3

2) Item Information - Much like in the Weapon section, this shows flavor text and information about the item.

3) Crafting Cost - Same as the Weapon section. Materials and Kill Coin cost.

4) Craft Button - Shows as above if you lack the materials or funds. Shows when you can craft the item.

And lastly, the Materials crafting menu. Here you have:

1) Item List - The list of materials you can craft(sorta). Currently, the level 2(green border/background) materials can be made. Level 3 items only come from the Shop or rewards.

2) Item Information - The same as the other menus. Flavor text for the items.

3) Crafting Costs - *NOT SHOWN* This will show what is needed to craft the item. For level 2 Materials it takes 10 level 1 Materials plus some Kill Coins.
Challenge Menu

Welcome to the Challenge Menu! Here you will find challenges to help you grind your way through the Season Levels. Here you can see:

1) Challenge Category - This is a list of challenges broken up into categories. These include Daily, Season, and Weekly challenges. Picking one of these will show...

2) Challenge List - Here is the list of challenges that fall into the category you pick. Dailies reset each day, Weekly ones continue on throughout the season but unlock as the weeks go by, and Season will be active ALL season.

A fairly straightforward menu here.
Season Menu

This is what it's all for with the fighting and killing and mushroom nomming! The Jamboree! On this menu you can find:

1) Seaons Level/Season Info - A toggle between the displayed page and a summary Season Info page of the exclusive items for this Season.

2) Season Progression - This marquee is a full showcase of all the items you can earn through the Jamboree for this Season. Items with the Lock are for the Pass. Items marked with the RED 'Free' tag are gained even if you don't have the Pass.

3) Item Information - Flavor text for the item you have selected from the Progression.

4) Purchase Pass - This takes you to the screen to purchase the various levels of Jamboree Pass. If you press on this button you'll be taken to the purchase screen(below).

Please take note of how it says "Season levels beyond 100 cannot be purchased.". This would mean that should you buy the pass at 100 you won't gain the extra levels from purchasing it in the first place. You WILL gain all the rewards that are unlocked from 1 to 100(or which ever level you may be at if past 100).

If you buy the Silver pass at the start but then decide half way through to buy the Gold or Platinum you not only gain the benefits but it will deduct the price of the previous pass. So, if ya went with upgrading to Platinum(3800) from the Silver(950) you'd have to only pay the difference.
3800 - 950 = 2850 Death Metals to upgrade.
Rankings Menu

This is the Rankings Menu. On this screen you can find:

1) Your Rank/Top 100 - A toggle between your personal rankings and the top 100 in the ranks.

2) Ranking - This displays the RP brackets for each Ranking.

3) Rewards - Here are the rewards you gain from your rank IN THE PHASE. When the Phase ends you will gain these ones.

These are the rewards for AS YOU RANK UP. Here you see:

1) Ranking - The bracket of points you must fall within to reach a certain Rank.

2) Reward - These rewards are gained the moment you hit the rank shown. Said rewards can only be gained once and will arrive in your Mailbox in-game.
Profile Menu

The Profile Menu shows a few things.

1) Profile/Title/Badges/Player Level - Toggle between the various sub-menus.

2) Player Display Information - This is information that is displayed to others. Your title, badge, and name are here.

3) Drop Down Menus - These allow you to filter down the information. This includes which Season, Game Mode, and Weapon Types.

4) Player Statistics - Here lies all your information from in game. Every match trudged through, which weapons you used, and all that fun stuff.

The Title section shows:

1) Titles - This is a list of Titles you can earn.

2) Title Requirements - What is required to earn said titles.

The Badges section works similar to the Titles section:

1) Badges - Badges you can earn in the game.

2) Badge Requirements - The required schinanigans for earning the badge.

The Player Level section functions sort of like the Season stuff. Here you can see:

1) Level Progression - As you gain Player Level you'll unlock rewards. The rewards show up in your Mailbox upon earning the required level.

Here is the Shop Menu. On this screen you'll find:

These currencies are mostly earned through Player Level and Season Level rewards(currently).

This shows you the News in the game. Current season, ongoing sales, and other things like that.
Settings

This is the Settings Menu. Here you will find:

1) Settings Menu Toggle - Go between the various Settings menu categories.

2) Settings Parameters - Here you will change up the parameters to better suit your needs.
On with the show!!!
Moving on, going into a match you'll deal with a loading screen then be put into a match after you've dealt with waiting in queue. Upon loading into the match you'll have the HUD to deal with among other things.

1) Match Timer - How long the match has been going.

2) Player Count - This shows as alive/total. In this there are 9 players alive out of the 16 that started the match.

3) Map - The match map. The icons are as follows:

- Player(YOU)

- Soon to become a contaminated area.

- A contaminated zone. You'll start taking damage in this area.

- The RED icon is the HUNTER. The WHITE dot is another player.

4) Hunter Alert - This signifies that the Hunter is active. If there is a target the player's name will be shown underneath.

5) GP Meter - This slowly fills as you do things. Eating shrooms, killing players and cryptids fill this. The higher you go the more damage you do and the faster you move.

6) Voltage - This is your overall Voltage(health). You start a match with 1000/2000. You'll gain and lose this as you do or take damage.

7) Skills - This shows your Wilson, Deathblow, Main Skill, and Sub-Skill.

8) Wilson/Shield Meter - This shows the overall charge of your Wilson(which is also your shield). Try to keep an eye on this as if you run out of charge you can't block and can even be dropped down to having no weapon for a little bit.

When all is said and done, you'll come out as the One Last Star or somewhere else in the list. After the match you'll get the Match Results Screen.
Aftermath

On the first of the Match Results you have:

1) Ranking - The match type and where you ranked.

2) GP Breakdown - What you did to gain GP as well as the total.

3) Damage/Kills - Your total damage dealt and kills bagged.

4) Cash Rewards - How many Kill Coins you gained.

5) Points Gained - From LEFT to RIGHT. Player Level, Season Level, Ranked Points *Not shown*, and Weapon Level points gained.

6) Queue Button - You can start searching for another match right away with this button.

Rewards Screen 2 shows you:

1) GP Bonus - Extra rewards from your GP gain during the match.

2) Acquired Material - These are materials you picked up during the match.

3) Item Information - The flavor text card for the item.

*Not shown is if you gained RANK bonuses. Pretty much the same as the other two but higher chance for the higher tier materials.*
T-Chips
This section is being added since many seem confused on how to gain this currency. There are two ways to get these.

1) Get into a Special Match(currently only running for Playstation Ranked matches)
2) Watch and vote on players in the Special Match.

Though listed earlier, here is the Deathverse: Let It Die Twitch channel again for watching to try to win some T-Chips.

Deathverse: Let It Die Twitch[www.twitch.tv]

Currently the matches are running once an hour with them starting between XX:53 - XX:59 of the hour. When a match is up for being voted on you will see the display above. If it's not showing for you then you have to allow the Twitch extension and link your accounts. If you need to link your account then you can either scroll down slightly on the Twitch page or go to Account Linking[account.deathverse.com] .

Note: Voting is currently only available on PC. Mobile Twitch doesn't work just yet.

As for the voting, you get 4 picks to do. Points are gained when any of your picks finish the match in 1st through 4th place. The points gained are 16, 4, 2, and 1 point in the same order. There is a bonus(supposedly) for correctly predicting all 4 picks.

When you've accumulated some points you can claim them in your Reward Box in game. If they aren't showing right away you may have to restart your game.
Outro and Roadmap
So, with all of that covered I hope I did a decent enough job of informing those that read through this about the game. Get on out there, swing those weapons, and have some fun!

I see... so this is the "I can't read menus but I can read this guide!" guide. Kinda a Darwin award check? But okay. :er_sad:
