NCF - Brigade

Developed as a all-environment combat ship, the Brigade was meant to fill the role of a intermittent defense ship. Capable of operations in all environments, the Brigade is a long range, short lived solution to almost any problem. The Brigade's heavy weapons compliment combined with its cheap propulsion allows the Brigade to be mass-produced, and used in wolfpack tactics.

The Brigade is equipped with 6 Artillery Turrets, 4 Gatling Turrets, and 3 Assault Cannon Turrets. The ship also comes standard with 4 sequenced rocket launchers. The ship is highly maneuverable, but lacks heavily in armor.

Created by Starworks Industries in 2783, the Brigade was designed to be a longer range defense ship capable of operating out of any operations facility, whether on-land, in space, or sub orbital. The design was chosen for its proven record by the 2nd Cosmohound Militia, who defended their frontier systems from Outsider incursions during the 2783 NCF-Outsider Border War, as well as the Lordanian Stellar Militia during the NCF-Inari Border War of 2784.
