In Bail or Jail (OBAKEIDORO!/オバケイドロ!) you can play either as a Human or a Monster. You can unlock different of these in different ways that will be explained here.

-The first way to get a character is the stamp cards.
Stamp cards consist of a list of missions that will give you rewards when you fullfil them.
You can see your stamps by pressing 2 (on PC) while you are on the main screen.



You can see there are 4 different stamp cards. In order from left to right these are: human stamp card, monster stamp card, general stamp card and festival stamp card. (Festival stamp card might not appear if there isn't a festival on at the moment.)

Rewards in these vary, but include titles, characters and temporal and non temporal stat changes.

-The second way of getting characters is through the shop.
You can see the shop by pressing 1 (on PC) while you are on the main screen.


On the shop you can get different lanterns and buy monsters.
The currency are coins, which you get by playing matches.
You can change between these shops by pressing 1 or 2 (on PC).

When you start the game, you are given the twins and Patches. Every player receives these.

In the game you have the option to unlock several characters.

You can unlock Googly by completing the following missions from the human stamp card:

"Raise the Human rank to C"
"Raise the Human Rank to B-"

You can unlock Pumking by completing the following missions from the monster stamp card:

"Dodge 5 Lanterns in total."
"Dodge 25 Lanterns in total."
"Dodge 50 Lanterns in total."
"Dodge 100 Lanterns in total."

You can unlock Sheepshearer by completing the following missions from the monster stamp card:

"Capture 5 Humans while in mid air."
"Capture 25 Humans while in mid air."
"Capture 50 Humans while in mid air."
"Capture 100 Humans while in mid air."

You can unlock Jack Ripley by completing the following missions from the monster stamp card:

"Raise the monster rank to C."
"Raise the monster rank to B-."

You can obtain Billy Kid from the shop after reaching monster rank ?.

You can obtain Grumpkin from the shop after reaching monster rank ?.

You can obtain Krowe King from the shop after reaching monster rank ?.

You can obtain Brutus Lupus from the shop after reaching monster rank ?.

You can obtain Ransack from the shop after reaching monster rank B+.

You can obtain Mabel from the shop after reaching moster rank A.

You can obtain Hack Sawyer from the shop after reaching monster rank S-.

You can obtain Swamperor from the shop after reaching monster rank S+.

These are characters that were able to be unlocked for a limited time during a festival.

These are currently not available but they might get a rerun or a package in the future.
These are based on the Nintendo Switch release, where they released Packages with older Festival characters.

Mel could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).

Hans could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).

Lizzy could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).

Draco could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).

Classy Baa could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).

Tough Lupus could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).

Bloompkin could be obtained during the 1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest by clearing several missions from the Festival Stamp Card (1st OBAKEIDORO! Fest).
