Mentally touching, what a work of art

an eoc speedrun might seem meh because.... it kind of literally is. it was never even considered as a noteworthy challenge, atleast in my eyes. it was moreso about the new experience that i wanted to try out. just as i previously tried out other new things, for instance, tservers, ssc events, nohits, mods, and such. its because i believe that stepping out of your comfort zone is very good for your growth.

hc eoc is also done with 1hp and any weapon that can kill it before dawn breaks. throughout the spedrun, i spent most time underground, and because it's a small world, i found heart crystals & gold, so i just used them. i'd like to emphasize that i had no other goal in mind besides "1st night hkx eoc". i just wanted to see what the speedrun experience is like, and wanted to do it because Sash & many other youtubers had once claimed to have done this as well. because it's a small world, my habits from playing in normal world sizes lead me to building the skybridge up too high, causing harpies to spawn & attack me right before the fight. the bridge design itself is far from perfect, as it was built during nighttime and in a hurry. it had errors such as wiggly rails and the end slope being too long. these design flaws caused me to get hit, cuz the design didn't have the sort of accuracy in mind that a skybridge used in a 1hp run would have, where avoiding any and all hits is necessary.

it's more than what most people could do, yeah but hc EOC is doable with 120 hp and an iron bow no problems for me. it's kinda meh by your standards

you heard it, completing the task on the very first attempt is supposedly not good enough!
