!!!JUST SUBSCRIBE NOT WORK!!!

This addon replace original Startup Loading Screens with their upscaled 4K versions.


HOW TO INSTALL: 1. Download the GCFScape (if not already downloaded) - https://nemstools.github.io/pages/GCFScape-Download.html 2. Unpack this addon from the addons/workshop folder using the GCFScape and put the left4dead2 and loading_screens folders in Left 4 Dead 2 with replacing the gameinfo.txt file (if you don't want to replace this file, just open it and write the additional line "Game loading_screens" above "Game udpate".) 3. Done!

this addon is a requirement for me ngl. original screens are way too low quality.

i also dont understand how you can have trouble with the setup, its so simple

Just want to say, this is working beautifully for me and it looks much better for the game on start-up. For a default run, it's my first pick. Good job.

I have just one question. Why you was replacing two folders? What's the second? You must replace or edit one file - gameinfo.txt.
And if you edit gameinfo.txt - "Game loading_screens" must be above "Game update"
And that's it

Wait.......is this a joke I even did the alternative step with the gameinfo.txt with no results and come to find out the actual mod doesn't have "Game loading screens" line either.:[

I installed properly and nothing worked. I used GCFScape to unpack the files and all I had to do was put it in the (Left 4 Dead 2) folder and select replace to replace the files in the two designated folders. The mod is't working can you update please? And sorry if sounded mean.):

you only have 4k loading screen vtfs in pak01_dir.vpk. i replaced this with my current one and everything is gone. you should've packed the entirety of pak01_dir.vpk with the 4k loading screens. now i have to verify my gamefiles and get every ♥♥♥♥ again.
