There was no option for key-press visibility when I wrote the guide no. I’ve checked out what the option brings to the game since reading your comment though - it makes the UI look a bit more like the graphics I made for the guide :D and a bit less of a memory game to use.
Thanks for taking the time to comment - I owe you an apology for accidentally deleting you comment, I meant to delete my original reply to post an update and nuked yours by mistake. Despite first appearances feel free to repost or comment here anytime.
I’d say rather than a "leet gamer” (which I don’t consider myself in the least) feature, it’s simply an alternative interface that, basically, doesn't involve clicking, holding and dragging a mouse which can get pretty irksome during runs.- especially stuff you’ll be doing constantly like armouring, healing, attacking back monster and so on
Clearly a lot of thought went into designing it, as it’s pretty intuitive to use.
Click a card works fine for me but I 've just beaten my first boss.
Thanks for commenting.
The cards in the guide are simply props to explain how the key combos work. I had made up some dummies to use but went with a hand from the game instead.
However if you mean that in a game the cards shown can only target "Front Monster" then you correct and the guide has done its job.
Glad you found the guide useful.
I'll add your tip in to the guide when I've got a few more utility type keys to add.
