Opis
Description
Immersive Solar Arrays (ISA) adds new items and lets you harvest solar power for the needs of your base!

Required Mods
You need to have TARGET SQUARE ON LOAD COMMANDS added to your save mod list if you want to spawn special crates with this mod. It is rather safe to add / remove on existing saves.

Notice!
  • Use only one version of the mod. Latest mod id is "ISA_41". If you have installed mods with same mod_id then you won't be able to select which one is loaded.
  • Mods that delete changes made to default actions like inventory transfer and generator interactions can cause problems.
  • Enable x2 Textures in options or tiles will appear wrong in world, if you have other tile problems try to identify which map or tile mod is incompatible. Disable any other mods and see if the issue persists.

  • If you have problems downloading the mod with steam, you can find the latest version of the mod on GitHub.
  • Some options require game reload, Stash Houses might need a new game to work properly.
  • It's advised to test this mod in debug before adding it to your modlist, if you add it to an existing save then you should create a save backup.

I found a bug that's not covered above, what to do now?
First of all, you should try to reproduce the bug with only this mod enabled and write the steps necessary to reproduce the bug. If you can't reproduce it with only this mod then try to limit it to a specif set of mods. Check your logs for errors and post them with any other relevant information.

TheGamingBeardsly: Mr. Poltergeist the mod creator has stated the long time it takes ti wire each panel makes it more realistic to that time frame.

Morgan: The range of a battery bank appears to be 24 tiles away from placement and the solar panels appears to work several floors away. If you use a generator as power back up, it most be within 1 floor difference and 20ish tiles away.

Blue [ITA]: You can can not connect them together, but place them side by side but it would be counter productive because each item you power will consume twice as much power. If you have in a large building, you can place one on each side but remember the batteries over time will wear down.

I am having a hard time adjusting the sandbox options. The solar panel connect time is horrendously slow. I changed the connect speed multiple times to different values and nothing has changed, is there something I am doing wrong. Should I be able to see the sandbox options in the in-game mod options. I have been changing them in the server files for my hosted server. Please help.

Hello Mr. Poltergeist, I was wondering what kind of lift would it take to upgrade this amazing mod to work like the water pump mod so you can tie the battery bank into the building it currently is in and power the whole facility ?

I press turn on to my power bank (which is full of fully charged batteries) and it makes the generator noise but it doesnt actually turn on?

if you turn on expanded recipes to craft solar pannels after starting a sandbox are you able to craft them or would you need to start a whole new save

@Redeye and @Ręcho I have translated the video that was posted by @JonaDragnel and essentially what you need to do is to find a magazine that talks about solar energy and make sure your electronics skill is high. Then you can craft homemade batteries using a car battery, some scrap and some cables. The best you can get from what I can tell is 400 amps.
