Description

Take the fast and direct way into Consett and Durham with Xlines! In 2020, saw the launch of the Xlines X5 and X15 which runs between Shotley Bridge, Consett, and Durham. The service was treated with four Wright Streetdecks branded in a lovely gold, orange, and yellow Xlines livery. Then in February this year, all four Wright Streetdecks were replaced by Volvo B5LH’s which were painted into the same gold, orange, and yellow Xlines livery. The Volvo B5LH’s came from the Coaster 1 service due to the service receiving Wright Streetlites, to comply with the new clean air zone in Newcastle. To match the Xlines specification all four Volvo’s received the Xlines branding, Interior branding, USB ports, a seat retrim, and even a few tables upstairs. Personally, I think the Volvos look amazing both inside and out so what a great way to bring Consett into OMSI 2!
