Sovereign Class Fast Battleship

Built to act as fleet flagships, the Sovereign class are fast enough to escort carriers, protected enough to soak in large amounts of fire, and powerful enough to engage even the strongest of foes. Armed with 12 17.5 inch main guns in 4 triple turrets, as well as an enormous secondary battery of 20 5.25 inch dual purpose guns, the Sovereign is unmatched in terms of firepower. Her armour belt is beaten only by far slower ships, and can ward off almost any shell that comes its way. Her high speed allows her to chase down ships far smaller than itself, as well as operate alongside destroyer and cruiser screens.
