Image taken by a Afghan civilian, shows a dead DIA crewman next to his BMP-1.
Most likely ambushed by DRA rebels and the BMP-1 was abandoned due to panic.

BMP-1 status:
-Fuel tank is partly damaged.
-PG-7V hit right side of the hull, where passengers would be.

Crew status:
-Gunner abandoned first and ran for his life.
-Commander then got out & tried fighting the rebels before being sprayed upon.
-Driver was later killed inside the interior of the BMP-1. "
