Dedede will feel familiar to those who've played Smash Bros, as most of his moves are taken from Brawl/PM/Ultimate. Even if he is slow, his hammer really packs a lot of power!

You can also hold Parry and Taunt to become Masked Dedede, a cosmetic outfit that'll make you feel like a true king!

Dedede sucks in air and will grab opponents that come near. Unlike Kirby, he cannot move while someone is in his mouth, but he can still jump. He can also suck in projectiles and spit them out for more damage!

Dedede chucks a Gordo with his hammer that bounces across the stage. Gordos can be hit again once out. But be careful, the opponent can reflect them back!

Jump into the air like the true boss of Dreamland! Dedede will ascend into the air and fall with all of his weight, causing a shockwave on landing.

Dedede yanks out a drum and throws it below him. You can angle it by holding a direction after the input. Once out, the drum can be bounced on for extra height. You can use it to make Gordos bounce further, or use Up Special to make it more powerful!
