Falling Wind

Descrição
A simple script that adds falling wind sound.

How to use
  1. Find a tall structure.
  2. Leap off it.
  3. Let your ears enjoy the wind.
  4. Try not to break your legs.

Creating custom sounds
On your addon, in a client-autorun file hook the "fallingwind_AddCustomSounds" hook, and add a table containing the data about your sound to the provided table. Example.

hook.Add("fallingwind_AddCustomSounds", "Example Sound", function(SoundList) table.insert(SoundList, { file_path = "path/to/your/sound.wav", name = "Your Sound Name", author = "Your Name." }) end)

Threshold that determines when the wind will begin, 650 is just over your running+jumping speed.
cl_fallingwind_maxthreshold
1500
Threshold used to determine where the wind is at it's full volume and pitch, 2000 is the default max noclip speed.
cl_fallingwind_enable
1
Enable or disable the wind sound.
cl_fallingwind_volume
0.75
Alters the wind sound volume.
cl_fallingwind_stop_in_vehicle
0
Mutes the sound while in a vehicle.
cl_fallingwind_stop_as_ragdoll
0
Mutes the sound while dead. (ragdoll)
cl_fallingwind_shake
1
Subtle shaking while falling, increases intensity alongside the wind sound.
cl_fallingwind_noclip
1
Mutes the sound while using noclip.
cl_fallingwind_vfactor
1
These 3 variables correspond to each 3D axis(x, y, z), they change how much of them is factored in when calculating your absolute velocity. For example, setting each one to 0 except z will make the sound only play when you have a high vertical velocity.
