yeah, it is tragic and I have a lot of empathy towards those individuals. Just goes to show that Valve is a disgraceful corporation.

I've heard there were employees in valve that actually wanted to work on TF2.
but sadly they weren't the big employees that dictate projects.
The head big boys decided it isn't worth it to work on TF2 and shifted the smaller employees to work on better projects.

I imagine at least someone at Valve feels some degree of shame, even if just a little bit. If not, then the company is made entirely of psychopaths, which is unlikely.
