the fish dude only attacks when two conditions are met. 1) You must have all other points of interest photographed, except one. 2) You are in the correct position to take the last picture. When these two are met, the fish WILL attack when you look back. Even when you are not in the right spot to take the last picture, and look back, you will get eaten. This means you can play the entire game backwards and get chomped at the start of the game.
