南越拥有OH-6'泥鳅'观测直升机和一架UH-1运输直升机，尽管如今他们已不再能够从溪山(KheSanh)和昆先(ConThien)基地得到火力支援，但AC-47空中炮艇和南越空军的A-1天袭者依旧能够提供强而有力的近距离空中支援。
