I have not tried this with the firepit/cauldron, so not sure if it works there, but if you are using the furnace, if you fill all 5 slots, it works on all 5 at the same time, so split what you are doing into 5 piles and finish the work 5 times faster. Sure wish i knew that a lot sooner.
