[Prop Pack] Planets!!

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
Simple prop pack with all planets of the solar system and some moons.
Not to scale, they're all the same size; 4 m diameter. Saturn and Uranus are aprox 8 m due to their rings. No axial tilt for any planet, they're all north facing straight up.
Earth has city lights.

I highly recommed using Procedural Objects if you want to modify their size and/or orientation.
Another option is to use the new Prop Anarchy and its resize feature.

12 objects included:
  • Sun (New!!)
  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • Earth
  • Moon
  • Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn
  • Uranus
  • Neptune
  • Pluto
  • Charon

Model info:

The ones without rings:
Main model: 480 tris. Textures: 1024x512
LOD: 112 tris. Textures 256x128

Saturn and Uranus:
Main model: 544 tris. Textures: 1024x512
LOD: 144 tris. Textures 256x128

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like my work.

you should have made Uranus Sideways because that's how the planet is suppose to look like in real life

Nice idea. Perfect for sci-fi cities

this is awesome! Really needed more planet variety, would hope you liked the experience enough try known and fictional exoplanets too, haha.

But I also really wish these were to scale. :/ We can always change with PO but having them ready made for a Solar System model would be great. Maybe separately upload a to-scale version with smaller and larger textures as appropriate? :)

@SlimNasty: You might be able to use P.O. to change the size and scale

I agree with ToadieYPQ these are great, would be nice to have them different sizes to depict their real size differnces, doesn't need to be to scale, but just a type of visual reference to see which are small and which are large etc...

Keep up good work
