This game has a number of achievements that, according to the stats page, few people have managed; so here's a trick to make them straightforward.

On the very first map, walk (without running) all the way to the edge of the map. If you see any chests, open them and get the coins. If this is the edge with the portal, turn around and walk all the way to the other edge of the map. Then just stay there. On the dawn of day 3, walk (don't run) back to the center of the map, light the campfire, and return to the edge. Then just... sit there until the dawn of day 9. Finally, run in celebration for a couple seconds.

This takes advantage of the fact that greedlings come from the far end and won't be able to reach you before sunrise forces them to flee. For best effects, play this music in the background,

This should net you the following achievements, easy as pie:

• On the Third Day I Lit a Fire
  
• For Five Days I Turned the Other Cheek
  
• By the Sixth Day I Was Rich OR On the Eighth Day I Fumbled (depending on how many chests you found)
  
• On the Ninth Day I First Ran
  
• and also, if you don't have it yet, the Day Five achievement.

If you want even more, position yourself at the very end of the dock and let the game idle overnight; this will get you all the survival achievements up to day 100. This is a known bug though, it only works because the eventual greed assault will knock your crown into the water where nobody can reach it, and the game only ends if a greedling grabs your crown.
