In this RDR2 short, Arthur comes across two enemies- one representing nature and one man- united in death. Perhaps Rockstar is saying that man's conflict with nature not only endangers himself but the natural world at large, like with the professor you can find espousing an early form of climate science in Annenberg. More than likely it's just a little detail to flesh out this treacherous area. After all, bears are everywhere around this area, so it was only a matter of time that a hunter (maybe the hunter that inhabited the tree house that Mr. White & Mr. Black hole up in) would end up mauled by one.

Opener song is Tuscan, by Roy Williamson. I think it fits well over all. It has a somberness to it, and beyond that it reminds me of treks out on the trail. You can listen to the rest here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pHh9NdoBXc

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an immersive, open-world narrative set in the dying age of outlaws in the late 19th century USA. But most of all, it’s a livestock rustling, gun-slinging, bar-fighting, drip-collecting, lumbago-having, horse-riding, and boah-praising simulation set in the ripe ole year 1899.
