This is undoubtedly my greatest accomplishment ever. I didn't think that 2 weeks of practice and relearning chapters will be enough to achieve something of that magnitude, especially after over a year of not even touching the game. Although I already had a few hundred hours on just vanilla, and have done a few hard custom map goldens, so that probably justifies it.
When I opened the game for the first time after the break, I decided to derust with vanilla. I got 202 berries in around 30 hours, around 19 of which were spent on Farewell. And all that was only using vanilla and nothing else, not even save states to practice. I decided to keep muscle memory on vanilla by just replaying random chapters every day, mostly Farewell and B-Sides of chapters 6, 7 and 8. And then I decided to give a 202 run a try. 
This is the 2nd attempt on 202 speedrun. The first one was the day before and I decided to abort the run after golden death at Reconciliation. 
In the run I tried to minimise amount of deaths while going relatively fast, as I usually like to combine speed and low death styles of play. After I was done with 100% part, the obvious choice was to go for Farewell golden, which is exactly what I did. After 3 deaths on FW golden I decided to get 6-8c goldens to kinda rest my mind from FW a bit. Throughout the run I decided to get rid of the hardest goldens first, and sometimes I switched for other ones if I felt too tired of some golden. After I returned back to FW attempts... Farewell checkpoint happened. After that I really tried to control my emotions and adapt my mindset, which I think I've done perfectly. I went for 8b golden and got it after few tries, after that I've returned to FW attempts again. And on those attempts something really clicked in my mind and I stopped worrying about the run almost entirely. My BPM wasn't even going much higher than usual when I got to later sections of FW again. After the golden, I knew the run was pretty much done, I just needed to get all other goldens. Somewhere at 7a golden I started to feel very tired and noticed that my attempts were getting worse, as well as my fingers were starting to hurt a bit. I didn't stop playing, though. 
After more unfortunate deaths throughout the rest of the run, I finally did it. I felt a very strong mix of happiness, relieve, and a lot of anticipation and excitement to show the 202 ticket to people. Something that I envisioned since first people did 202 speedrun, finally became reality. I'm so happy I managed to get through something like this and actually learn from it. Controlling your emotions does wonders, and being confident is pretty much a key to a lot of things. And also, don't set expectations or make predictions for anything. If you didn't succeed at something, you always have a chance to try again.
