When you boot up the game, there should be a vase with two flowers on the bottom of the screen that looks like this:

Click on it.

Step Two: Read the Instructions

This message will appear, showing you how to play the game.

Step Three: Follow the Instructions!

Do this and you're on the path to success in Plants vs. Zombies!
