"There are moments when I can almost see the underlying grammar of this place. An impossibility, some mad architect's opus—a relic from an age that never could have been. It's a metastasized amalgam of add-ons, additions and appropriations. Building itself out of itself. Beautiful and terrible—and like anything cloned from a cancer cell, probably immortal."

With nowhere else to grow, Aperture's infinite automaton pierces the topsoil.

There is no gameplay in this map. Take your time.

jaw dropping visuals. chilling. in a way these are my favorite kind of portal 2 maps -- the worldbuilding here and imagination is unmatched...

This isnt exactly the same, but I've been trying to work out a map, whether in p2 or gmod or whatever, showing the progression of Rattmann's dens and his existence miles underground, and I think you did it justice better than i ever could without trying

I appreciate your warning that there is no game-play in this map. However, I feel that that aspect alone means that it should not be grouped with portal games. I can also appreciate the work that went into making this map but it is mostly too dark for the player to be able see that work. By the time I got to the exit, my old eyes were sore. It was an adventure! Thanks
