Welcome back.  Solomon is the next participant in our mission to complete a run with every Shell and Shade.  He can be considered the ability specialist as he boasts the highest possible resolve amount in the game, allowing for plenty of parries and weapon ability usage.  He also has solid HP and defenses, which can make building resolve a bit more forgiving.  To balance out for his strengths, Solomon has an absolutely abysmal stamina regeneration rate.  This can make using the heavy weapons in particular a bit of a struggle before obtaining any stamina affecting instincts.

Speaking of, even back in the first run, I decided to stick with each Shell's signature weapon; at least for the base shells.  I'll definitely mix things up with future Shades, but man, I love the Smoldering Mace.  Wide swings for solid crowd control, and one of, if not, the most destructive weapon abilities in the game.  A perfect fit for Solomon!

Heavy NOTE:  These runs will be completed using a file that has ALL of the Runic Gate upgrades maxed out, as well as the familiarity upgrades unlocked (this is required to use the other shades anyway) as it makes the runs considerably more forgiving and in my opinion, a far more enjoyable experience as a result.

Run notes:
Another shaky start as I struggle a bit to adapt to Solomon's atrocious stamina liability.  I opted for the Impervious Lute this time to help compensate and boy, was that the right call.  I did, however, make some questionable instinct choices trying to alleviate the stamina issue, but got some pretty strong ones throughout anyway.  And let's not even acknowledge the ledge slip in the Seat of Infinity that gave me a mini heart attack..

Crucix was sloppy as I got a bit greedy trying to show off the Smoldering Mace's other ability (I wish it lasted longer..). I then demonstrate my ignorance in this mode by priming a bunch of buffs before the final fight, only to find out they get removed upon entering it.  Now I know!
