IT may be a way to get YOUR squad mates back or be a boss BATTLE that YOU HAVE TO defeat and then the MEDIC one will come he will have a TATTERED clothing and a balaclava with a crowbar (if the player did not get crowbar he will have a pistol) and 5 minutes later reinforcements come as NU-7 or CLOUD-9 (which could give you the good ending)
