Achtung! Did you reload from a checkpoint and now you're stuck walking in place, completely unable to move? Try going to the Options menu > Settings, click Accept (without changing anything), then back out to Continue the game. You should be able to move again!

UPDATE (Dec 2022): According to a comment from user andrut, this bug can be avoided permanently by disabling the head-bob option, otherwise you'll need to do this every time you reload a save. Thank you for that!

This bug happened to me every single time I reloaded a save, which I had several occasions to do (mainly to see what choosing the different options at the memory-terminals did). Hopefully it gets fixed, or I just have an unlucky rare software/hardware combination, because it would be a real shame for a bug like this to drive people away from completing their exploration of such an interesting place.
