I had something simular happen to me. I'm on HTC Vive so when i was learning how to eject the mag, I was just standing there pressing random buttons on my controller.

bHpatics does support Index (SteamVR). I just now sometimes have to restart my game or reset the game option under the Control option.

I myself use an oculus quest 2 so i wouldn't know tho
