Session 14 in the ongoing saga of our Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign; Tales from To'Atha!

Having tracked the assailants of the caravan to their makeshift camp, our heroes concocted a plan to sneak up on and surround them. Unfortunately, while trying to avoid detection Harbequirtholmitalik fell directly on several jagged stones alerting the ogres to their presence. The battle was fierce, but our heroes ultimately prevailed, though the largest of the bunch escaped on foot. Cora, in a vengeful fervor, nearly split from the party to pursue the escaping giant, but was eventually convinced to stay and rest with her companions. The Ymuli recovered from the destroyed caravan, Haldar, found his hunting brother amongst the corpses at the camp. After explaining to the party that he wasn’t able to save his companion Hrothgar, Haldar performed a mysterious and brutal death rituatual of his people known as Yutula. The party then relieved Hardar of his manacles, and he left to return to the O’Haava. Our heroes then set down to rest for the battle ahead, and Nerdia asked her goddess Umberlee if it’s a good idea to pursue their quarry tonight. Her vision suggested that there’s great danger ahead. The companions decided to find a place to rest for the night. What peril awaits our heroes as they pursue their most dangerous quarry yet?
