To the guy asking about shuffling the deck. That was deadass the strategy. Get a card that required to shuffle the deck then let the timer run out as it'd take so long to shuffle the whole damn deck.
The point was not to win, but get a point across.

A lot of people don't know how this officially happened, basically he opened with Yellow Gadget and knew it was over, he summoned it, searched Green Gadget, and as there was no way to make sure his deck was sufficiently shuffled he got kicked out of the tournament, which was his plan all along.
