WHAT IS MAGICITE?

Well good question. As always. I like people who ask questions. Not that I like people who ask too many questions, but eh... that's just me.

MAGICITE is an indie- game developed by SmashGames. It has many Rogue-like or Pen and Paper- esque elements in it, such as special traits or rolling your stats, to make yourself your own character to play as and identify with. MAGICITE also has many "Binding of Isaac"- like elements to profit from. For one there is the permadeath, which keeps the player always on edge and really careful with how they perform. If you die, your character gets deleted and you will have to start right over again. Sad? No. Really interesting mechanic, that gives the game a much higher Replay-value.

While you lose your character and your ingameprogress upon death, you gain fancy hats and playable races as unlockables, that may or not help you on your next run through Deephaven's Dungeons. You are the hero in the story of MAGICITE.

Sean Young and SmashGames have made a great game, that will keep on impressing and improving in the future. This has only been the start for MAGICITE. More updates are already teasered on their Twitter and Facebook Fanpages.
