When you are moving to a new area, like when your cursor turns into a door, you can move instantly (almost) to your destination by double clicking. This will skip Samuel slowly walking across the area.

This is especially helpful in large areas like the outskirts of Black Mirror and the Warmhill Vicarage. It will also come in handy while trying to pass time in the game.
