The broken fence.
To get to the broken train bridge you first have to find the broken fence, Look at the photo of the PDA. The red circel is the broken fence. When you pas the broken fence, follow the red line on the map, its a safe way without radiation.

The Veles Detector and the Gravi artifact.
The Veles detector is the best detector in the game and the Gravi artifact is pretty usefull because you can carry 20kg more when you equipe it. But be careful because the artifact has a +3 radiation downside.


Notes.
I was using "Clear Sky Complete' at the time I was making this guide, but that should not be a problem because it also works with the vanila STALKER.

FIXES IF THERE IS NO DETECTOR THERE:
- Even if you cant see it, spamming the button which you pick up items can work( you may need to use low crouch button as weel)
- If the above fails make a save inside the campfire room, load that save and try the above again.

Doesn't work for me because there is nothing in that swamp hole. Perhaps it could be something with the game version?

I found it but I had to reload a safe.Safe inside the placed and then load a save and it should pop up

question, in my version i got it off steam for 3 dollars i think its not the complete version but i need a guide to get me there like i cant go to the area unless i want to go to a radiation fence that gives me 100 radiation who do i go to get to that area?

No fetch quest wont help. Body just serves as direction. Either you cant pick it up after leaving swamp for the first time or its a bug in vanilla game.

If you accept the Return Item: CS scout's PDA mission, or just find yourself wondering about somewhere north of the Village ruins, you can pick up a Veles detector that will make finding Artifacts much easier. Copy pasted from wiki. Must accept that quest first

got to the underground bit but no veles and no gravi
