Description
Sleep With Friends v1.3 - Sleeping Solution for Multiplayer.

Get a full nights rest in multiplayer in a fraction of the time! No more 20+ minute sleep times! No more fatigue-less games! No more organizing a server bedtime!

  • Updated mod structure for use in Build 42



Sleep With Friends' settings can be found under Time in your Sandbox Settings.

You must also have the mod enabled to see the options in the UI!



+++WORKS ON ANY vanilla DAY LENGTH SETTING+++


Being that the mod is just a formula, certain sleep time lengths combined with certain day lengths will produce decimals (ex, it could calculate 6.45 in-game minutes).
As a result, you may sleep a bit less or more than the time you set.



BE SURE YOUR (servername)_SandboxVars.lua HAS THESE 4 VALUES.

Default settings:
  • Real-Time minutes (Real-Time minutes = 1, In-Game hours = 2)
  • 2 of above setting
  • Endurance recover 2x speed of fatigue recovery
  • Auto wake enabled (on = 1, off = 2)

Make sure your server also has the mod's Workshop ID# and Mod ID name in the (servername).ini

NOTICE:

This mod does not modify the vanilla sleep system.
It records your stats when you start sleeping, reduces the recorded stats according to the mods formula to suit the time desired, then applies them as your stats after one in-game minute.
Time will fast-forward still if you are the only player online or everyone is also sleeping.
