Interweaving Yin and Yang

Description
This super-simple, super-symmetrical test is brought to you by HMW's sendificator. Hopefully after this test you'll understand it better.

Should be an exploit-free test, but let me know if there's still one out there.

Also, if you see an "ERROR" model in your test, go to http://portal2backstock.com/bee2/ and get the BEE2 mod. Everything should then work correctly.

can you tell me how to install BEE2 mod and run it in steam, portal 2, or windows 10? I tried instructions on link but was not specific enough. I am new to mods and do not author workshop items.

Noted; thanks for playing.

After figuring out what a sendificator was it was an easy test. Not at all intuitive though.

I'd have to toy around with BEE2 some more (e.g. to see how to get those multi-textured walls), especially now that I acquired Teamspen's addon pack....

Anyway, noted for future maps :p2aperture:

I think the "Clean" theme is what is causing stale GLaDOS lines. I changed the theme to "Original Portal 2" and the items that BEE2 supply stay while GLaDOS doesn't speak.

Yeah, the BEE2 GLaDOS lines are already quite stale :P Send your complaints to BenVlodgi.

Nice and simple :)

By the way, are the GLaDOS lines a standard feature of BEE2 maps? If a lot of maps start doing this then it will get old pretty fast.

Portal bumping exists with your fizzlers!

I'd rather do that in other maps (ones that I can make prettier with Hammer), or so have the BEE2 team figure out a way to automatically embed custom content.

I'll see what I can do about the sphere button. Logic gates don't always do the prettiest of things when it comes to indicator lights, and I want to keep this test symmetrical, so pardon the counterintuitive feel there.

Not exactly automatic, first you need to fully compile the map to get the final bsp file, then insert all the files needed for the sendificator into the bsp file using pakrat . I can get you a list of the files if you want to. Then publish the bsp file with p2map_publish.exe from the authoring tools.
