Fix Battery Weight to Complete Game

This guide provides a fix that will allow you to complete the game in its entirety. I have gone into the game code and lowered the weight of the car battery so you can carry both the items necessary to start the car and beat the game.

File to Fix Battery Weight
In its current state Grizzly Valley is unable to be beaten due to the limits placed on the inventory system. In order to carry the two items necessary to fix the car and finish the game, you need to carry a weight higher than the limit set by the developer. In order to fix this and make the items weigh enough to both be carried at the same time, I went into the game's code and halved the weight of the car battery.

All you have to do for this fix is download the folder from the link below and paste into into your steam directory for Grizzly Valley, overwriting the files it deems necessary.

After doing so you will be able to beat the game. Enjoy!

Hey Stan! Been a while. I apologize for the delay. Gonna take a look over the next few days and see if I can find the exact software I used, or at least a good alternative. :)

If I'm completely honest I forget the software I had used to lower the weight, but I'm all for re-figuring it out and lowering some other stuff. I had originally debated also including one that just lowered everything but decided to just do the battery.
I'll take a look at it and once I get it I'll edit the guide with a little section of how I did it and a new file for those who just want the fix. :)

Any chance you'd be willing to either share how you halved the weight, or do the same for other items in the game? I feel like 10 kg, or 22 pounds, is a laughable amount of carrying capacity.

after so many years, and so many runs to the end. I can finally beat the game. I can die happy now
