Do you believe in fate, Neo?


On to the next weapon in the Abstract0 series! The P250 is a gun that I have always loved working on and this particular skin wasn't any different. The P250 is pretty much always a breeze to work on as I really enjoy the flat surfaces of the gun and the way the different elements are spaced out. Fun fact, the P250 was the first gun that started the oxide blaze collection!


The work process was quite a breeze. After I made my own Abstract0 smart material I got to applying it to this geometry. Because the gun features a nice surface this wasn't so difficult and I just went for aa natural dropdown from the top. However, one big difference on the P250 compared to the Famas is that it doesn't feature the same green design from the bottom of the gun. The reason for this is that the space down there is simply to narrow and it would feel very cramped. On top of that, it would also obstruct the natural gripping position where the playermodel holds the gun which is something I personally try to always keep in mind.

Honestly, after this I added all the other elements which are also on the Famas and that was pretty much all that was to it. I didn't run into many issues, and neither did I feel like there was anything worthwhile mentioning in the development process of this skin. It was a smooth and enjoyable process all the way :)
