I seemingly was stuck like that for at least two whole minutes. Definitely the donkey poop. The spinning started slow and just kept getting faster and faster until the effect ended, but it basically paused the cut scene until it resolved. In a game of strange things, I wasn't sure if it was a joke I just didn't get.

Mine got stuck like that for so long that I thought I was going to have to reload the save lol

I had this too!! He twirled faster and faster, and it went on for way too long -well over a minute for me. So strange.
