So In the halloween update, hub blessings were added, however not all of them are found easily. This guide will help you find the locations of all currently known starting alters and what their blessings are.

Under the Masked Defiler statue (Double Jump)
The first of these statues can be found on a new platform under the Masked Defiler's statue
you can get to the platform through the hole at the base of the statue. You will find the statue on the other side of the pillar on the platform. This statue will give the Double Jump blessing.



Under the Large Statue (Longer Whip)
To find this one go to the platform where you got the Double Jump blessing and locate this chain.


Walk across it and jump around into the room with the statue

Under the Relic Room (Crouch Jump)
Another statue can be found not too far from the first one. Behind the Masked Defiler statue, below the relic room, you will find a doorway leading to a tall room with another blessing statue at the bottom. This one will grant you the Crouch Jump blessing.



Above the Large Statue (Hover Slide)
Vine Whip Method
*In order to do this method, you will need the Vine Whip and the Crouch Jump blessing.*


Jump ontop of the large statue at the center of the room and crouch jump grapple up into the hole above you and climb up to find the statue which will grant you the Hover Slide blessing.



StrongStyleSmark Method
*In order to do this method, you will need the Double Jump, Crouch Jump, and Longer Whip blessings*

Jump ontop of the large statue at the center of the room and aim at this spot


Crouch jump then double jump and grapple, then afterwards double jump a second time to make it into the room. After that it's just a straight climb up to the statue
On Top of the Temple (Wings)
Vine Whip Method
*In order to do this method, you will need the Vine Whip and the Crouch Jump blessing.*


First, crouch jump up onto these brasiers to the left or right of the relic room


from there crouch jump again up to the top of the temple to find the statue and get the Wings blessing





StrongStyleSmark Method
*In order to do this method, you will need the Double Jump, Crouch Jump, and Long Whip blessings*

This is pretty much the same as the Vine Whip method except instead of going straight to the top of the temple from the brasiers you instead hop up to the statue a bit higher up.

From there it's an easy jump to the top of the temple.

Have they? I followed this guide and got all 5. They're still there. They just kinda...don't seem to have a purpose...

honestly, I don't know why they were added, they've been removed at this point apparently. I guess it's because they didn't really have a purpose

Unfortunately, the altars got removed at some point.

I'm in the correct room for the crouch jump altar, but it isn't there, is there something I am doing wrong? Or is that altar just not there anymore?

I found both of the last two are JUST makeable without the Vine Whip if you've got Crouch Jump, Double Jump & Long-Range Whip.

For the Hover Slide Statue it's just a matter of timing the jumps & whip properly (you can double jump both before and after you've whipped without touching the ground).

For Wings I used the very tall pillar directly next to the brasier you start on. It's slightly closer, and if you spam jump when you're near the ledge, you should get on top of the pillar and it's an easy whip from there.
