mp5 sound in l4d2 is in 22050khz format while the rest of the guns are in 44100khz. this is why every addon you download that replaces the sound seems terrible.

the way you can fix it is by putting a 44100khz audio named "mp5-1" in left4dead2 > sound > weapons > mp5navy > gunfire

the file also has to be in .wav format and the same length in milliseconds as the original or else you will hear screeching noises every time you fire the mp5
