Since 2016 we've made the CS:GO radar simple and more accurate.

More than 1 million players have downloaded it since release, and you might've spotted our radar being used at major tournament broadcasts or on HLTV match pages.

Memorize Call-Outs Faster
You can use our radar without callouts if you want to keep Simple Radar, well… simple.

But if you're trying to learn (or just remember) callouts then look no further.

We based the callouts on what pro's use, but we can't promise they'll get you out of Silver II sadly. English only, more coming soon™.

Pixel Perfect Precision
The default radar is about as accurate as a jumping USP.

We spent +1,000 hours re-drawing every detail on each Active Duty map to help you spot enemies and objects with precision.

And we've been shipping updates regularly. No matter how many double doors Valve remove on Dust 2, Simple Radar will always show the right number.

We built a simple configurator on our site, so you can create a radar that suits your taste.

You can remove everything and make it simple and clean. Or add in callouts, elevations and buyzones.

1. Make sure CS:GO is closed
   
   
2. Go to C:\YOUR DIRECTORY\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\
   
   
3. IMPORTANT: Make a copy of the entire overviews folder and save it on your desktop (as a backup in case you want to go back to the default radar)
   
   
4. Now go back to the Simple Radar folder, open "01 default" and select and copy all files inside
   
   
5. Then open overviews (C:\YOUR DIRECTORY\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\overviews) and paste all the new Simple Radar .dds files, restart game and you are ready to rock!
   
   
6. IMPORTANT: Just replace existing radar files with SimpleRadar files. Don't delete all radars in your overviews folder. If you do, you will loose radar for maps we don't support (any map outside of active duty pool)

If you also want Simple Radar to show up in spectate mode when you hit ctrl, follow these steps:

1. Follow steps 1 - 3 from regular install
   
2. Go to your Simple Radar folder, open "02 spectate" and select and copy all files inside
   
3. Then open overviews (C:\YOUR DIRECTORY\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\overviews) and paste all the new Simple Radar .dds files
   
4. Restart game and you are ready to rock!

DO NOT USE ON SMALL RESOLUTION
SimpleRadar works best on resolutions with a height of 1024 pixels or more.

Here are some commands you can use to tweak the radar look and placement to your preference:

Will I get VAC ban for using Simple Radar?
No. Simple Radar is NOT a third party program or considered a cheat. It's simply a modification to your game files similar to updating your config.cfg for game settings or styling your HUD.

The radar is black or misaligned, what do I do?

• Verify your game cache. NOTE: This will revert all your settings and radars back to default. We recommend taking a backup of your config and any other game files you might have modified.
  
• Place the Simple Radar files into overviews
  
• Test in-game

Will this get me banned on FaceIT, ESL or ESEA?

FaceIT has officially approved[support.faceit.com] it in their rules.

ESL has disallowed this for all pro competition. We are talking with them about approving it for amateur competition.

ESEA has not officially allowed Simple Radar. That being said, a staff member said it is fine[play.esea.net]. Why you ask? Changing your radar is no different than changing hour HUD fonts or colors - it's not a third party app, it's purely a cosmetic change of your game files.
